Who would rescue her

When would she weep no more

She has been deprived of her pride

Drown in a deep ocean by those she trusted

Ripped apart by those she called her own

Save me she calls out!

Our dear Nation.

 

 Let a Clarion call be made

For our Dear nation is going down the drain

Our land filled with milk and honey is turned to a field of blood

Who shall save her from the clutches of her enemies

Her sucking baby is deprived of her feed at a tender age

 

When shall the Saviors of this once great nation arise and fight her battle

It looks as though the night would never break into morning

A nation meant to be celebrated today but how??

When the land is filled with lost souls crying out for vengeance

A nation filled with pride now reduced less than peanuts in it's worth.

 

 

I look forward to a Nation whose fountain of water never dries

A Nation where Justice will be delivered to the poor and the Rich

A Nation where we could travel safely with no fear of being kidnapped.

A Nation free of nepotism, favoritism but led by merit

A Nation where politics is for the people

A Nation where her citizen's pledge will count and be kept.

A Nation where we would never replace #3000 polo to celebrate our nation to buy a plate of rice all because of poverty in the  land

 
 

Who  would save us?

Oh creator of the universe,

O God of creation,

 look upon us today as we rise to give a Clarion call

Save our Dear nation at it  Diamond Sixty!

Nigeria hear this clarion call and arise from the ditch you've been pushed into

Hear this Clarion call and live as true Patriots.
